Dr. G. Edwin M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D, is a reputed Mathematician and researcher of Mathematics for more than 30 years. He was the Research Coordinator and Head of the Department of Mathematics at Nesamony Memorial Christian College, Marthandam in Kannyakumari District. He has authored many books on mathematics and is best known for his path breaking book “Shortcut techniques to TNPCEE Mathematics” which helped students to score high marks in their Tamilnadu Professional Courses Entrance Examinations.
For more than three decades, he trained students in the nitty-gritty of Abstract Mathematics, exploring its nuances and grey areas. For being a teacher-par-excellence, having committed a lifetime to the dissemination of mathematical knowledge, he has been rewarded with the love, appreciation and gratitude of students, parents and colleagues. He continues to ignite curiosity in young minds by proving time and again that the most complex maths can often be solved with the simplest approach.
